From 286ers and geeks to enthusiastic IT supporters :-)

I sidste uge havde jeg fornøjelsen af, at være med i min allerførste podcast. Min kollega Jan og jeg var nemlig blevet inviteret til at deltage i ”Social Selling Radio” the podcast, which is about B2B sales and marketing via the digital platforms.

I sidste uge havde jeg fornøjelsen af, at være med i min allerførste podcast. Min kollega Jan og jeg var nemlig blevet inviteret til at deltage i ”Social Selling Radio” the podcast, which is about B2B sales and marketing via the digital platforms.


I podcasten blev Jan og jeg interviewet omkring emnet ”why” - altså hvorfor vi driver vores virksomhed Supporters. This sparked a conversation about how we use our "why", partly as an internal guiding star and partly to stand out in the market.

We want to create excitement!

Our company's "why" is essentially about creating excitement. We want that both with our own employees, but also to a large extent with our customers, whom we help on a daily basis with strategic IT advice, operations and support.

Revisiting my old 286

When, in connection with the podcast, we got to talking about how far back we had to go to find the hearth of the excitement, for me it also became a kind of reunion with my old 286 PC and various computer games that characterized my upbringing. Because it was here that my personal passion for technology and IT nerdiness was created. It was also here that my interest in wanting to help others and excite them in relation to technology arose.

Half a year ago, when we started working on our "why" at a workshop, the passion for technology and creating excitement quickly became the focal point. Our "why" ended with the precise wording: "We want to create excitement".

We are happy to share our experiences

I hope you would like to listen to the podcast with Jan and I. In any case, we would like to share our experiences and give you inspiration to work with your company's "why".

It is my personal experience that by having a clear definition of your "why", you create a communication beacon. A beacon that makes it easier to communicate with both employees, business partners and not least customers - and of course in a way that can set you apart from your competitors.
