How do you carry out major IT updates at your place?
We have a self-update routine for Windows 11, where the user decides on their own when it is convenient to update the machine. This is one of the bigger updates, so it's best to do it on your own, rather than having it arrive inconveniently.
We always set a cut-off date and if the user has not been updated on time, you will be greeted by a few friendly reminders along the way.
In an everyday life with IT support, we work tirelessly to avoid downtime and give the user self-determination for when improvements must be implemented.
In the case of major updates that may be disruptive but necessary, we recommend that the user can organize their everyday life themselves.
