How do we embrace mistakes in the workplace?

As an organisation, we naturally have an interest in avoiding mistakes, because this can have major consequences for our customers and their everyday life.

As an organisation, we naturally have an interest in avoiding mistakes, because this can have major consequences for our customers and their everyday life. However, errors are also important to discover and understand, so that we can work to prevent them and possibly turn the situation into a win if they arise.

Last Friday we had a visit from the consultants Rasmus and Helle, who gave us insight into how we can use mistakes to an even greater extent to create momentum, well-being and personal development.

Tryg ITstart is a pilot project, supported by the association Velliv, with the aim of creating a good IT start for young people in the IT industry. By using various games and improvisational exercises, we gained insight into how a company supports a safe environment in the workplace, where you dare to make mistakes and learn from them.

The desire is to achieve full psychological safety, which refers to a culture where employees feel safe to seek support when presenting ideas, asking questions, expressing concerns or making mistakes.

A healthy bit of skepticism before the workshop turned into a fun and educational experience on a day full of challenges for both apprentices and management.

Thank you so much for visiting and thanks to Bettina for offering the opportunity!
