Here in Denmark, the AAA rating is widely used in business, municipalities, regions and state institutions when looking for a business partner. The AAA logo signals a solid, well-run and well-consolidated company that you can trade with with peace of mind. It signals that the company has a low risk of bankruptcy and a particularly good ability to meet current payment obligations.

The process consists of 2,400 factors, which are divided into 4 main groups: Basic data, Ownership, Finances and Payment behaviour. All the factors are put into a formula which is extracted by Dun & Bradstreet Ltd (part of the Bisnode family). The result of the formula is the rating itself, where 30% concerns financial key figures, while 70% concerns the operation of the company.

It is the 26th year in a row that Bisnode A/S has carried out this A-rating of all the country's business enterprises.
