Roskildefirma lends an extended hand to hard-hit companies
The Corona crisis is hitting many companies hard. But at the same time, new creative ideas flourish. A company in Roskilde now offers to employ other companies' IT employees in a voluntary scheme.
The past few months have been particularly tough for many Danish companies - and for some this may mean restructuring in the long run.
Nytænkende forretningsmodeller har dog vist nye muligheder under krisen. I Roskilde rækker firmaet Supporters nu hånden ud til it-medarbejdere og deres chefer i små og mellemstore virksomheder, som står over for at skulle skære ned på omkostningerne.
Supporters are ready to employ the permanent IT employee via a voluntary agreement. At the same time, the company is expected to save as much as 20% of the fixed salary costs for IT operations and support.
"Being at the forefront of both support, operations, security and technology as well as constantly following new rules for GDPR and compliance challenges many smaller IT departments. Especially right now, when many are forced to look at their business in a new perspective. We are introducing a new way for companies that are considering dismissing their IT employee, but do not want to say goodbye to a skilled employee and risk important knowledge being lost," says CEO Jan Grested.
New opportunities for all parties
Supporters now dare to guarantee the company a saving of a fifth of the normal costs. Quite practically, it takes place in the way that Supporters hires the IT employee with all the obligations that come with an appointment. The company solves all support and operation tasks in a full-service outsourcing concept at a fixed price. Supporters pay the employee's salary, but only charge the company 80%. The employee does what he or she is best at and is also released to other customers and tasks.

Hos Supporters ønsker vi at tiltrække kvalificerede medarbejdere, som gerne vil noget mere. Alle vinder ved modellen – både på den korte og lange bane,” siger Jan Grested.
